Grand Strand Quilters

The Grand Strand Quilters meet each Thursday at the Gen. R.H. Reed Recreation Center in Myrtle Beach. The meeting starts at 10 AM with a short business meeting, announcements and show and tell. This is followed by a sit-and-sew or by a special program. Meetings usually last until 12:30 PM.  Coffee is available at the meeting.

The first Thursday of the month is often a speaker or general program along with a general business meeting.

 

Classes are taught on the second Thursday. You must register to take a class. Members that are not in the class also meet as a sit and sew. There Show and Tell but no business meeting.

 

The third Thursday features a demonstration along with a business meeting 

 

The last Thursday of the month is our Charity Sew with no business meeting. Projects might include making pillowcases, placemats, or special projects. Sewers, pressers, and cutters are all needed for these projects, there is a task for everyone.

Visitors are invited to join us for up to two meetings. Visitors must pay a $2.00 fee to the Gen. R.H. Reed Recreation Center
